Maxx Academy is a leading tuition college located in the heart of Chatswood, North Shore, NSW. We provide weekly and holiday courses in English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Economics and Biology tailored for students of all levels, from those who want to catch up on course material to those hoping for state ranks and perfect ATARs.
Our courses are presented by our qualified teachers and past HSC state-rankers who know how to succeed. More importantly, our presenters have many years of tutoring experience and have perfected the art of teaching. In particular, we know the importance of exam and study techniques in achieving top ranks.
Our center provides large, modern, air-conditioned and well-equipped classrooms with big whiteboards and projectors to enhance students’ active learning. In addition, an open area for students is provided to facilitate academic learning and resting. A renovation at Maxx Academy didn’t just modernize the facilities – it modernized the learning environment.
At Maxx Academy we believe that teaching should: Focus on desired learning outcomes for students, in the form of knowledge, understanding, skill and attitudes; Engage students in discussion of ways in which study tasks can be undertaken; Encourage the informed and critical questioning of accepted theories and views;
